| The north end of the barn is the end seen most plainly by other villagers. It was important to make that attractive to the neighbors. Since this is the north side, the advisors told us to leave this side as a barrier to the cold and damp from the north. The previous owner had made cheese in the fromagerie attached to the back of the barn. | |||||||
